Amenities at Cyclone Ballparks to Keep Your Kids Entertained During Ballgames

USA Softball game at Cyclone Ballparks in western Texas.

We pride ourselves on the best playing experience for softball and baseball teams at Cyclone Ballparks in Southwest Texas. Our fields have hosted some of the top baseball and softball tournaments in the region, and we’re expanding into Phase II as we double the size of our ball fields.

Here are the top amenities to keep your kids entertained while your youngster plays a game.

Wi-Fi

If your phone or tablet can’t get a connection in Pecos, we have free Wi-Fi to connect to. Three major cell service carriers have service in our city, and two of them have more than 90% coverage. But you won’t have to worry with our free Wi-Fi for guests at the ballpark for youth tournaments

Wi-Fi can keep your kids connected and entertained with their favorite shows, streaming services, games, or videos if they start to get fidgety during ballgames. Why not make it a theme with baseball movies, cartoons, or games?

On-Site Concessions

On-site concessions have your ballpark favorites and cold drinks for everyone. With the expansion and additions completed in late 2024, we added two additional food and beverage buildings to cater to hungry fans and players. Look for hot dogs, nachos, and ice-cold sodas!

The two additional food and beverage buildings mean more choices closer to the fields. We’ll have plenty of bottled water for hot, sunny days in the summertime, as well as cold treats to keep your family hydrated and go along with the delicious food.

Practice Areas & Batting Cages

When practice areas and batting cages aren’t being used by teams, your child can practice their baseball skills. The top-of-the-line batting cages offer various pitching speeds. A pitching tunnel can help your youngster develop their throwing arm.

And, of course, there are plenty of areas in between fields or beyond outfield fences to just play catch. If you want baseball-themed activities, there’s room for that.

Playground & Splash Pad

In the middle of the baseball fields will be a playground and splash pad, which are part of our expansion, and are coming in the spring of 2025. The playground will include various play structures to cater to children of all ages and abilities, ensuring an inclusive and entertaining experience for every young visitor. The equipment is state-of-the-art.

Alongside the playground, the splash pad will offer a refreshing escape from the Texas heat, featuring water jets and sprinklers that create a playful and cooling atmosphere. Kids of all ages will love this on sunny days. And adults might find it refreshing to cool off, too.
